Charles–Henri Chevet, General Manager of the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Hedges as the Golf Operation Manager at Phokeethra Country Club, which is managed by the resort.

Jack has worked in the golf industry for the past 6 years. During this period, he graduated with a National Diploma in Golf Management Studies and worked at two well-known golf complexes in Berkshire, England. In January 2009 he was sponsored by the Diethelm Group to travel to Hua Hin, Thailand for a one-month training course in operations management at the Palm Hills Golf Club.

“I’ve been a sportsman since a very young age. Golf was not my main sport but eventually it took over my life. I have an enormous amount of passion for the game and have loved working in the golf industry for the past six years. Ever since my trip to Asia, I’ve wanted to go back to beautiful area of the world and start my career out there. It is a privilege to now be working for such a major hotel brand,” Mr. Hedges says.
